Kol Milaelson

Kol Mikaelson, acted by Nathaniel Buzolic, is one of the original vampires, also known as the originals. He was birn in the 10th century, but hi exact age is unknown. He was turned by the imomtality spell that his mother casted on him and his siblings after one of the was killed by an werewolf. His mother is called Esther and his father is called Michael. He was turned into a vampire hunter by his wife after the had seen what beasts their children had become because of the spell. He and the steaks of the white oak tree are the only two things the originals fear.

 

Jeremy Gilbert

Jeremy Gilbert, acted by Steven R. McQueen, is the younger brother of Elena Gilbert. In the first season Jeremy was in love with Vicky and had a serious drug problem. A few seasons later he found out that she had turned into a vampire. He fell in love with Anna& Bonnie too( but in later episodes). Jeremy finds out that he is one of the five in season 4.

We like Jeremy a lot.

Stefan Salvatore

Stefan Salvatore, acted by Paul Wesley, is one of the male protagonists of The Vampire Diaries. He is a 165-year-old vampire. Stefan was born and raised in the supernatural town of Mystic Falls, Virginia. He's the youngest son of Giuseppe Salvatore and his unnamed mother. He had an older brother, Damon, who is also a vampire, an unknown half-brother and was the descendant and doppelgänger of Silas. Stefan had a love-hate relationship with Damon since 1864, when they both fell in love with Katherine Pierce, the woman who turned them both into vampires.

Elena Gilbert

Elena Gilbert, acted by Nina Dobrev, is born on the 22.06.96. Her parents are Isobel Flemming and John Gilbert. Her Parents gave her away for adoption so John's brother Grayson adopts her. He and his wife die in a car accident. From then on she lived with her aunt Jenna. She has a little brother called Jeremy. In the book she's discribed as a blond, popular, mean girl, but Julie Plec decided to change somthings about her being a mean girl. Elena is a Petrova Doppelgänger, which means she is a supernatural "creature".

We don't really like Elena cause she switches all the time between the Salvatorebrothers.

Damon Salvatore

Damon Salvatore, acted by Ian Somerhalder, is the older of the two Salvatore-Brothers. He was born in the year 1839 and lived in the colonial town of Mystic Falls with his brother Stefan and his father, Giuseppe Salvatore. He was turned by Kathrine Peers (Katerina Petrova) ,who he loved more than annyone else in the world, in the year 1864. At that time he was 25 years old. In the books Damon is discribed as good-looking and blackhaired. In the beginning he is very agressive against Elena, but that turns into love.
